What can I expect on my first visit?
The moment you walk into Crossway you will be greeted by friendly people & you'll feel a relaxed no pressure atmosphere.
Sunday Worship Service Starts at 10:30 AM
Our Sunday morning service is contemporary. You will be welcome whether wearing a suit
and tie or shorts and flip flops. Typically starting with an opening video, the service flows into an immersive time of praise and worship music. You will likely see Living Instruments, one of our worship dance teams actively involved in choreographed dance to several of the songs from groups like Hillsong United, David Crowder and Kari Jobe as well as original songs. Because our service is casual, you have the freedom to stand, sit, kneel or lay down on the floor as you feel led during worship. The focus is helping YOU connect with God in a meaningful level of Worship.
Special Music or Short Video We move from worship into teaching we will often have a special song, skit, dance or other special yet worshipful talent as we have a time of giving. In some cases you will also experience a short video that will help to set the stage for the teaching to follow.
Teaching Pastor Doug is a
down-to-earth, humorous and engaging speaker. He uses his real
life experiences and street-wise revelation to teach the
truths of God's word in a practical way that everyone can
understand. Dr. Paul Simmers is a heart-felt teacher and
encourager. He uses his lifetime of wisdom and experience in
education to help portray the beautiful truths of God's grace.
The end of the service
Just around noon, he pastor will invite the people that have needs to come forward for prayer. This is a critical time in the service where we have seen lives transformed and people healed. This is the end of the service and you are free to go. Or if you have a need or are hurting, feel free to stay and receive prayer or counseling as soft live worship music plays.
